The golf senior night was a HUGE hit as the golf team defeated MEC rival Monroe Central 178-188. The seniors made up over half the team (6 of 10) and included a senior manager. Head Coach, Brad Miller said, " I have a phenomenal group of individuals. They are good golfers, but even better people. I look forward to challenging them each day at practice to make them feel more comfortable being uncomfortable. This group gets along together as well as any team I have had and it makes for successful days at the golf course. We still have work to do and have plenty of preparation left for Sectional this weekend, but I have no doubt with our experience and talent, we should be one of the teams competing to qualifty for the Regional this season." The girls conclude their regular season Wednesday vs. Muncie Central, before teeing it up Saturday at the Muncie Central Sectional (Crestview Golf Course).
