Welcome back everyone from Spring Break. Whether you stayed around or traveled somewhere, we are now ready for Spring Sports to begin. It is kicked off this Wednesday as the softball team and new head coach Thom Noble, leads his girls into their first opponent of the season (Union City). This game will be played with a "modified scrimmage" format and stats will not count toward the regular season. Regular admission will be charged for the game and concessions will be available as usual! On the Northwest side of the campus, the JV baseball team will kick off their season under the direction of coach Caleb Henderson against 3A power house New Castle. Both games start at 5:30 and tickets will be sold at the gate. Outdoor track season will begin at Detla on Thursday begining at 500 and the Varsity Baseball team will open up their season on Friday evening against Richmond under returning coach Heath Dudley. If that was not enough, Saturday will continue the action at Brian J. Dudley field as a Doubleheader vs. Muncie Central starts at 12:00 as the Varsity baseball is game 1 followed by JV in game 2 immediately following the game. Full concessions will be available! Spring season is among us and let us hope for good weather and an incredible season for all teams this year.
